A dark case does not compete with a watch on the wrist or a wedding band, it photographs well against a suit, and fingerprints and small marks show far less than they do on a polished bright finish. What is in the collection
Most of the black watches on the shelf are half hunter cases, with a glazed window cut into the hinged lid so the time reads while the case is closed. Movement
Every black piece in stock is hand-wound mechanical, so it takes a daily turn of the crown and no battery. Wind until the resistance turns firm and then stop; set the time by pulling the crown out a notch, turning, and pushing it back. The movement is covered by a 12-month warranty.
